Tuesday Morning: Today’s Haiku

<

p style=”font-family:"”>It’s not yet dawn

<

p style=”font-family:"”>No light over the mountains

<

p style=”font-family:"”>And I’m now awake

<

p style=”font-family:"”>It’s Tuesday morning. A new day arises. What are you going to do with it?

A Monday Early Morning Haiku

A street shines just outside my window. The quiet of this suburb, both home and alien.

Reality and Possibility

possibility
Where is the boundary
Between reality
And possibility?

In Motion

Dreams of motion

<

p style=”font-family:"”>Cars and vans, across deserts

<

p style=”font-family:"”>Sunlight’s glaring strength

<

p style=”font-family:"”>The forces of life drive hard

<

p style=”font-family:"”>Each day waking

<

p style=”font-family:"”>I’m the same bed

<

p style=”font-family:"”>With different views

<

p style=”font-family:"”>Outside this glass

<

p style=”font-family:"”>Wheels sparkle in the day

<

p style=”font-family:"”>Transitions happen

My body wants to sleep, but not my mind

Now the night moves in

My body wanting to sleep

My mind resisting

Flowers: sharing a poem from O at the edges

via Flowers

A lovely poem

I delight in flower’s grace

Words of elegance

A Monday fear

Nervousness wakes me

A meeting with high pressure

I’m lacking self-trust

A #midnight #haiku

In this deep darkness
As this day transformed to new
This eerie silence?

Resisting the night

Darkness holds its own

Rest is deceptively hard

The street-light’s ally

I Chose To Care

Though many don’t care

And they pride themselves on that

I shall choose caring

I don’t mind the nerdly/Pollyanna label: I care. And I have no intention to change that.
