This morning’s haiku

The summertime heat

This morning’s air brings relief

With a chance of rain

Morning Glory

The sun long since rose

Morning faded with the mist

It’s glory remains

I love summer nights

I love summer nights
So tempted to stay awake
Later than prudent

This Monday

Summer’s heat is here

Children nearly done with school

Silent, save for crows

This Sunday Morning

Quite warm already

Neighborhood birds, quite subdued

Robbed of their vigor?

The First Day Of Summer

The sun’s finally set

The air’s still warm. Summer is here

Cool air slowly seeps

Sepia Memories

Remembering calm

Summer’s days upon the grass

No anxieties

Announcing Summer’s Approach

Daisies in sunlight
Flowers announcing summer
Seasons are changing

Summer’s Approaching

Languid summer days

Sweetly flavored ice on sticks

The joys of childhood

Early morning

Heat caused restlessness
Hear the unknown insect song
Now the robins call
