Today’s Black History Month Poet: Gil Scott-Heron

Probably best know for “The Revolution Will Not Be Televised“, Scott-Heron hugely influenced Rap and Hip-Hop. His work captured the array of emotions describing the urban black culture of the moment.

I remember back in 2015 when Mr. Price made this bold decision. It gives me great delight to see such solid results. Seattle is a greater place with innovators like Dan Price, especially those willing to disrupt more than just markets.
