Destructive vs Challenging Oneself
Holding yourself to a high standard and beating yourself mercilessly for not being perfect reflect two sides of a singularity. But they are not the same. One’s the path towards self-destruction and one leads to a vibrant and vigorous life. Focus on self-care and maintaining realistic expectations, and the rest will naturally fall into place.

Reflect on myself
Walking upon these same streets
Changed and new blended.

My childhood feet trode.
Memories, feelings lurking
Forgotten flit forth, bird-like;
A flicker upon consciousness
Vanishing like morning fog
Leaving no trace save the
Dream-like phantom reflection
Of my youth.
A Spring Morning
Sunlight drifts on wind
Cool intensity floating
Flowers greet the morn
Soul’s Creation
Journeys create souls
Deepening our deepest depths
First step: send ourselves.
