As I look upwards
Orion’s belt reminds me
This stargazing youth
So many memories, laying in the grass, eyes skyward, my dreams moving at lightspeed.

Every great thing
At the start
Was against the
Odds

This silicon mind
Bytes raging across the earth
Digital dreaming

After days of rain
The river’s running quite high
An eagle watching
A mediation on today’s post by Seth Godin: “The respect of ‘why'”.
Questionsall was my first Twitter handle, and is the title of my poetry blog, and my very first site here on Blogger. I deeply value questioning, on probing. I don’t accept things at face value.
I believe the path to a great life comes through questions.
Wise leaders accept the value of questioning. Everyone on the team needs to value the mission, share the dream and the goals. Then, and only then, will you have a team of innovators.
Obedient serfs don’t innovate!

Evaluating
Are actions aligned with goals?
Deliberate change
Doing some personal evaluation right now. Clarifying my goals: what I want to do, what I want my life to mean. Hard, but necessary, especially when I put everything on the table: nothing sacred, all challenged. Ensuring only what is truly enriching remains.
This kind of work is hard. Rewarding, but hard. Hard to look at decisions and paths thinking “is it time to let this go”? But that’s the only way to keep moving forward.
Another morning
Dreaming crafting the greatest future
Sitting silently
My heart now broken
Grace within the brutalized
Within all this? Hope!
