My Design Sensibility

white space my best friend

crisp clarity is my goal

not one extra word

Such is my ascetic: minimalism, concise clarity. Inspired by modernist and Swiss Style, I prefer crisp fonts, lots of free, open white space.

A Friday Morning Haiku Near Seattle

these grey morning skies

echoing my memories

birdsong calming me

These grey, cloudy mornings are a part of my soul.

Wednesday Morning Haiku

These peaceful moments
Walking in my neighborhood
Sunlight upon clouds

Graceful Sunlight: A Haiku

the motion of light
falls gracefully on petals
gentle summer breeze

Morning Poem, July 6, 2020

grey coolness flows in

obscures the morning sunlight

flowers wake slowly

Haiku: July 5, 2020

This evening’s walk
Gravity pulls the sunlight
Looking westward

Haiku: July 4, 2020

this crown of petals

summer’s beauty now reigning

wind chimes graceful dance

A Haiku On A Cloud Filled Night

The moon peeks through evening clouds

Tranquility
Moonlit clouds
Gracefulness

The moon peeks through the clouds this cool Seattle evening. Misty rains paused long enough for me to complete a walk. Thus my mood’s betterment achieved.

Wishing you all thoughts of peace during these troubled times.

Today’s Haiku : July 1, 2020

daylight dances
petal to petal
hummingbirds sing

Tuesday Morning Haiku

Several violets
Flowers in a garden

violet vibrance

boldness of life shining forth

forgotten too soon
