A Tuesday Evening Haiku: Seattle Snow

This early morning
Branches burdened with coldness
Hints of the day’s light

A Snowy Morning Haiku

A snowy morning in Lynnwood

morning silence

tranquility sings

exhaling clouds

A Seattle Saturday Morning Haiku

ache of the cold wind
clouds moving with great speed
a seagull’s poem

January 8, 2019: Haiku

Seattle’s rain falls
grey skies with shades of rich blue
perhaps we’ll see snow

This morning’s #haiku: awaiting dawn

awaiting dawn

light’s grace upon the dark clouds

rain’s song to the trees

Dawn may come earlier, but it’s still dark before I leave for work, still dark on many drive home. This, at times, challenges many mood. I work to stay cognizant of my minds health.

The Solstice is Past

with the solstice past
daylight stays with us longer
spring whispering now?

Dreams Arise Again

dreams arise again

fears, one after another

barren branches sing

Acorns: A Poem Before Bed

acorns

echoes of the universe

upon my palm
Good night, every one! May you all find rest and restoration this night

A Haiku Near A Bookstore

within this metal
this writer’s soul delighted
festive tinsel’s song

A Cloudy Night Haiku

clouds dancing eastwards
souls uncovering new dreams
wind chimes whispering
