At this early hour
Awake before my alarm
Enjoying silence

A Truly Horrific Day

Filled with painful news
Death, destruction and much pain
Manifest sorrow

“Athletic” Means Something New Now

As I get older
Athletic has new meaning
It applies to me

A birthday meditation

Compline sung again
Mark another year of life

Focusing on Grace

I learned long ago

To accept inconvenience

With grace, not anger


It’s a harder path, but very rewarding in the end. My focus is to build people up, expand community, expand interconnection. Grace helps that vision. Accepting people where they are/who they are.
