A Tuesday morning haiku for Seattle

rain upon my roof
gentlest of rattles

pre-dawn darkness

University District Farmers Market: Seattle Haiku

farmers market stalls

a winter’s day free from rain

clouds across the sky

Remnants of the Snow

Remnants of the snow

Outside this early morning

More of the grass seen

The past few weeks have had me dealing with a brutal cold, which progressed into a sinus infection So I didn’t get much in the way of photos during Seattle’s snow storm, and I love photos of the snow. But I got thisne, which is something.

A Tuesday Evening Haiku: Seattle Snow

This early morning
Branches burdened with coldness
Hints of the day’s light

A Snowy Morning Haiku

A snowy morning in Lynnwood

morning silence

tranquility sings

exhaling clouds

A Seattle Saturday Morning Haiku

ache of the cold wind
clouds moving with great speed
a seagull’s poem

Under the Fir Trees

under the fir trees

eyes closed, awaiting the dawn

gently falling rain

Walking In The Rain

walking in the rain

moss covered stones by the brook

such calm memories

I just discovered a new writing prompt series created by Ronovan Writes. I love the concept and look forward to exploring the community further.

This haiku responds to this prompt: Ronovan Writes #Weekly #Haiku #Poetry Prompt #Challenge #287 Brook&Moss, which seems like a perfect prompt for a Seattleite.
