Roll The Clocks Back

I sometimes wonder

If we should roll our clocks back

Into sundials

A Transfiguration

Light across the cloud
The eye of God looking down
Changed when it meets me

A Rainy Seattle Friday: Haiku Challenge

Rain is now falling

A #Seattle element

All things grow from there
The “word of the day” was “element”

Full moon this evening

<

p style=”font-family:"”>Step into darkness

<

p style=”font-family:"”>The night starts folding inwards

<

p style=”font-family:"”>A full moon through clouds

<

p style=”font-family:"”>

And now it’s Thursday

This strange thing, Thursday

Near the end of the workweek

But without respite

A Haiku About Being True To Yourself

Being true to “you”

In this age of social noise

Now, who is this “me”?

Welcome to November

Welcome November!
It’s supposed to rain today
This is Seattle

Autumn’s Approaching

One more day of light
Soon, autumn’s fury descends
The callous winter

A Monday Dose Of Positive Energy

Filled with potential
Vibrant, manic energy
Another Monday

I hope your Monday launches you into an amazing week.

Me? A Poet?

Calling oneself a poet

So boldly hubristic

Arrogant and empty

Of dignified reserve
