Depression
Dismantling me
From the inside out
I dig computers

Depression deforms
Reality and vision
Always it tells lies
<
p style=”font-family:"”>I don’t understand
<
p style=”font-family:"”>The drive for savage cruelty
<
p style=”font-family:"”>Life’s brutal enough
<
p style=”font-family:"”>Internet trolls puzzle me greatly. What do they seem to accomplish? What is their goal? It just seems so much easier to build others up than tear them down.
A sunrise
Wakefulness comes
Not yet ready
I resist

Journeys near and far
We always see the same sun
Human connection

Summer’s hints remain
Echoes of heat and sunshine
Sunny autumn morn

Facing the old dreams
Memories long since hidden
Those things frighten me

Moving through mid-day
I step outside and reclaim
Focus and vision

These moments of joy
Nothing is more glorious
Sunlight on petals

Rain has returned
It feels more like Seattle
The one of my memory
So much of my life has been spent in the presence of Seattle’s rain. Though it chills my skin, it warms my heart.
