Sea’s ungentle care
Focused malice against them.

Word of the day haiku: entelechy
For those lacking this
Entelechy, life labors;
Frustration creeps up
My, this was a tough one.
Hidden in plain sight
I often
Find myself
My dreams, loves
Hidden by
My own
Ego.
Fire season
Flames lick upon us
Mammoth blasts of destruction
Summer’s darker side
Better photography
Perhaps the best way
To better photography,
Awake to good light
Inhuman humanity
This is puzzling:
Why it is humanity
That’s most inhuman?
An Evening
Sunlight fades; colored bursting glow.
Never to eek out more than a breath
From my imagination. Slightly glorious
Fading into night’s uniformity.
Summer Cruelty
Shining from the sky
Heat forced upon my poor skin
Gentler climes are loved.
Cruel Words
Fangs dripping venom
Savage bites wound deeply
Caustic moving air
Summer thunder
Thunder ripples down
Drifting upon summer air
Dark clouds move eastward
