This morning’s haiku
in the early morn
long before the birds arise
listening for grace
Summer flowers: a haiku
as the daylight fades
the dahlia glows in the sunlight
bringing the bees joy

quiet summer's walk
I lift my gaze to the sky
and feel life's wonder
An evening haiku
beads upon petals
ghosts of the recent rainfall
then sunlight returns
Saw this flower while walking around town recently. I loved it and wanted to share.

gentle honeybee
dancing upon the petals
moments of summer
Saw this flower with the honey bee on my way out to my car. One of the great joys of summer.
gazing to the west
sunlight stretching through the rose
I'm cooled by the breeze
A night haiku
with the sun setting
light moves from the western peaks
across these petals
Within the rainfall
within the rainfall
gentleness calming my soul
waiting for my tea
