Seattle’s first significant snow event this winter has disrupted our lives solidly. I miss the days i could walk to work, even in the snow. The roads have been quite treacherous. So, I’ve avoided them. Today, though, I really need to make my way into the office. It’ll be fun ,I’m sure.
I love this old house
The echoes of elegance
Rang into the night

This house had been part of my life for years. Recently, it’s owners have worked hard to recapture its glory. They’ve done a nice job, in my opinion.

and now it is night
the darkness embraces me
cool tranquility
Experimenting with Autodesk’s #Sketc. Fun thing to far, but I need to go to sleep now.
Dignity and grace?
As I view this cool, grey morn
I hear echo’s rage

Along the shoreline
I feel sunlight upon my skin
A warm winter’s day
Dawn has not yet broke
Though the eastern sky brightens
This new winter’s day
Winter’s afternoon
Watching these clouds move through firs
Such grace filled motion
Out east of Bellingham, near the town of Deming, we journeyed to the Nooksack river to see eagles. Around twenty bald and golden eagles sat among the trees. Seagulls fought for the scraps.

A haiku at the end of this busy day. Family after church, this period where birthdays intersect with major holidays.
