Cherry Blossoms

ah, cherry blossoms!
all the beauty of springtime
encapsulated

I try to walk every day. During those walks, I seek out signs of the seasons, of change, of life’s patterns. Lately, I’ve searched for signs of spring. Crocuses, daffodils, lilies, and now cherry blossoms.

Through the Rainfall

through the rainfall
as it changes to snow
the birds now confused

Found this blossom during my walk the other day. More signs that spring is almost here. Yet today we had rain, wind, snow and hail. It was quite a day, weather – wise.

Against all odds, I hold onto hope. Hard in this mad , rage-filled world.

This bouquet of spring

A celebration of life

Sunlight through the trees

Can you believe that this is the last Monday in April? May first is Friday! I noticed that the cherry blossoms are already starting to be shed, the last trees now filled with blossoms. Spring now fully present, at least in Seattle.

I hope this finds you safe and well.

Tonight’s #Haiku From This Evening’s Walk

While walking this evening for exercise and mental clarity, I came across these blossoms.
