This Evening’s Haiku

gravity’s demand
even the sun can’t resist
calmness comes with night

Sunset on my Walk: Tonight’s Haiku

Moving through my neighborhood, a suburb of Seattle, as the sun does as it must. Gravity’s handiwork across this sky. Rain started to fall as I neared home.

below the sunset
and the glorious red sky
soon the songbirds sleep

Tonight’s Haiku, April 25, 2020

as the sun descends
sunlight pushing through the trees
the clouds dream of me

Tonight’s #NaPoWriMo #haiku

Sunset in Lynnwood
sunlight descending dusk’s tranquility within awaiting frogsong Another lovely Quarantine walk through the neighborhood. Can you believe we’re in the last full week of April?

A Haiku At Dusk

Daylight’s glory fades
As the sky’s color changes
Surrounded by friends

This Evening’s Haiku: Walking at Dusk

I’m walking at dusk
As the daylight is consumed
Ducks and geese collect

A Spring Dusk

As I look westward

Dusk falling over water

Spring’s presence is clear

Sunset: A Haiku

The colors of dusk

A crescent moon ascending

Autumnal air brisk

Sunlight Falls #Haiku

Now facing westwards

Glory bursting through the trees

Cool air satisfies

Sunlight Wanes

Embraced by darkness

Sun’s now behind the mountains

Seattle’s beauty
