Heart of Stone

Her heart of stone
Sedimentary rock
Made of pressure
Upon layers of
Heartache and
Pain

Struggles

sad how often

I struggle

seeking what’s

in my

heart

Off to the side

He sat watching her

Dancing with another man

Stunned by the anguish

Duality

A heart conflicted
Powerful duality
Lost within my heart

Carnage

Saw a brief article describing a gathering of hippy, fairy folks  as “carnage”. Found the notion interesting. This is my response, I guess.
Carnage of the soul

Insecurity’s Fruit

Fears, insecurities,
Like rocks within
Sand; motion works
To grind all that’s
Good to dust.
