Day Two: NaPoWriMo

dawn’s light absent

darkness on cherry blossoms

when shall I make tea?

I appreciate every motivation to write. NaPoWriMo’s goal of a poem a day fits what I’m trying to do with this blog. I hope you enjoy!

Early Morning Haiku

silence outside

daylight still waking

the quiet of poems

Saturday Morning Haiku

wind chimes

early morning darkness

birds sing to my tea

Everyone else is asleep in my house. I’m very fond of these quiet moments. I hope all of you are safe and healthy.

The First Morning Of Spring

First morning of spring, 2020

first morning of spring
sunlight moving through the trees
tea warms my soul

Sunday Morning Haiku, February 16, 2020

dawn’s light with pink hints

birds wake and continue life

a sauntering cat

A Haiku For A Rainy Seattle Morning

p style=”font-family:"font-size:16px;”>rain taps my window

p style=”font-family:"font-size:16px;”>I listen to the gentle patter of the rain, memories full my head. Sitting in my bay window watching the rain. Laying in my childhood bed. Sitting in cafes, drying from walking, coffee welcome warmth.
