Tonight’s Haiku: March 5, 2020

star filled night
reaching heavenwards
caressing God’s face

A haiku from this evening’s walk

moving through darkness
quiet, my old companion
graceful solitude

Strange sounds in the night

Strange sounds of the night

Orion’s Belt, Tonight’s Haiku

where the rain clouds were

I now see Orion’s Belt

a cold winter’s walk

The clear sky this evening, a welcome reprieve from the recent gloom. Made for a lovely, if rather cold, evening walk.

How was your evening?

A Lunar Haiku

at this brief moment

the clouds dancing with the moon

as winter deepens

Such a lovely moon this evening.

An Edmonds Haiku

Edmonds ferry terminal at night

Along the water
Feeling the grace of motion
Rippling light waves

Sunday Night Haiku

The moon from just outside my house
Clouds moving with grace  This moon intensely watches   Song of the cold air

The sky to the west

The rain, yet again, has passed
