Tonight’s haiku is about learning from your mistakes
Learn from your mistakes
Stand up, smarter and wiser
Springtime approaches
The powerful thing one can do when facing mistakes is to taste a moment and absorb the learning. Let that mine in to your core, change you, make you wiser. That’s the kernel of humility.
Feed your soul joy
Just pursue your dreams
Seek out joy to feed your soul
Fight hard for your heart
May your week be filled with blessings.
I Delight In White Noise
White noise’s beauty
Hiding the fearful silence
This mountain of sand

The Subconscious: A Meditation
This lake, rippleless
Voices from within our depths
Currents flowing deep
Today’s Daily Prompt: Frigid
I’m not asleep
Night fell long ago
Yet sleep is avoiding me
I hear the highway
Oh sleep, I’ve requested your presence some time ago. Sigh…
Oh well, at least I can sleep in tomorrow.
Birds Singing at Dawn
The day’s beginning
With amazing potential
Bird’s singing at dawn
Early morning with birds singing boldly. I’m not quite ready to leave the comfort of bed and blankets. The sky slowly lightens, second by second.
Birds Awakened
This morning’s still dark
Abrupt noise into silence
Birds have awakened
This morning’s first birdsong came while I was dosing. Jarring enough to yank my attention. Does the first bird to speak get the early worm? Ot, perhaps, he gets the girl?
