This Age of Rage: A Haiku

In this age of rage

Where invective flows freely

Seek this voice of grace

Resisting Rage’s Allure

I try to resist

Our culture’s lusting for rage

Focusing on light

The Politics of Rage and Negativity

Here’s my Tuesday morning haiku meditation:

Politics of rage
Why are we so negative?
This land of plenty

A Meditation On Outrage And Rage

<

p style=”font-family:"”>The flavor of rage

<

p style=”font-family:"”>Which we love to drink often

<

p style=”font-family:"”>Sweetest bitterness

The Rage Engine: A Haiku

Rage’s engine roars
A machine that churns out death
While rotting out souls

Seems this is the favorite piece of equipment to operate anymore.

The cost of rage

Rage brings forth power

Everything comes with a cost

Not a path to peace

If we loved beauty

Imagine if
We obsessed
Over beauty
With the
Same energy
We invest
Into rage

The world afire in rage

<

p style=”font-family:"”>This world’s rages wearying

<

p style=”font-family:"”>Compassion’s grace derided

<

p style=”font-family:"”>Misery and grief

Rage’s Danger

Danger in offended rage

Most toxic of poisons

Seeps into our marrow

Boiling, burning away joy

Leaving nothing by charred

Remains

Palm Sunday Meditation

On this Palm Sunday

Focused on brutality

Humans’ love of rage
