Spring’s echos fading
Cool breeze removes vestiges
The cusp of summer

Facing Forward, Pursuing Progress
Grey skies have returned
Hints of autumn on the wind
Trees yet filled with green
To gently master
Beauty of sunlight, breezes.
Saintly prayers for me.
Flames lick upon us
Mammoth blasts of destruction
Summer’s darker side
Thunder ripples down
Drifting upon summer air
Dark clouds move eastward
Warm summer winds blow
Memories of life carefree
Spring’s blossoms vanished
The faded calling
Winter’s voice now is silent
Longing for coolness
Strange sunlight drifts downward
Forcing it’s way through clouds
Blurring, blunting the force
Yet the strength remains.
Burning, passionately,
Reddening that which it
Desires. Gentle appearance
Hiding so much destruction.
Sunlight cleansed skin,
Soul lightened by warmed bones.
Aches relieved by summer’s
Healing grasp, misery
Vaporized, floating
Along the wind.
