This evening’s walk

A rather warm evening for the end of November. I walked off a few of the feast’s calories, peering at the stars through Seattle’s clouds.

A Haiku From My Walk

Moving through mid-day
I step outside and reclaim
Focus and vision

Strolling Observations

Moving through evening air
At the correct speed to notice
Changes amidst life around me.

Cherry trees blooming, blossoms
A gentle riot upon still visible branches
But, a few trees remain barren, though

Not yet dead. Springtime’s possibility
Not accepted yet upon those limbs
Winter’s grip remains, but waning.
