strolling through the woods mysteries through the ivy moments of wonder
Today’s Word of the Day Challenge features “Ivy”. Instead of looking through my photo catalog, I opted to head to Pexels. This photo’s dark, woodsy mood felt perfect.
at the sunlight wanes
footsteps echo through these woods
soon sleep will call me
branches filtering sunlight
springtime’s gentleness
passing under trees
the path dry from the spring sun
with the bold birdsong

Hiked in Mukilteo’s Japanese Gultch. Its been a while. This lovely park is a great way to spend am afternoon.
