An October Afternoon Walk and Haiku

An October Walk
An October Walk

Nearly mid-autumn

Flowers keeping up the fight

Summer’s grip remains

A scene from today’s walk

Walking through the rain
WIth summer’s end approaching
This crafted flower

Though it cooler than the past few days, it felt plenty warm to me. Greater Seattle’s mugginess felt fine to me.

Indomitable

In this winter’s cold

Life continues to burst forth

Indomitable

The Flower’s Voice

As summer begins

Plenty of sunshine and warmth

A flower’s voice heard

A Flower After The Rain

As the rain had passed

This flower’s glory shines forth

And then the light shifts

Blossoms from Buds

Standing in sunlight
Buds changing into blossoms
Spring’s evolution

Drawing again

Time to draw again
I’ve neglected this too long
Don’t wait for “perfect”

This Morning’s Haiku

Came out this morning
This new bloom to greet the day
Flamboyant display

Found Flowers

From sun into shade

Purple bursts in the dark green

A break from the sun
