as night moves
the graceful neon dreams
rain falls

A Haiku Before Bed, November 27, 2019
stars above
the night’s calmness
fir smoke in the air
I do love the night. But now, it’s time for sleep to get its way.
Good night, my friends!
Tonight’s Haiku, November 22, 2019
the coldness of night
inspiring fast motion
my car is heated

An Evening Walk: Tonight’s Haiku
moving through the night
embracing the darkened sky
cold air fills my soul
Under a Streetlight
under a streetlight
leaves gently flutter
stillness
I do love this one so, both the photo and haiku. I hope you do, too.
Memories
Down from my window
Thousands of lights, lives
Alone before sleep
Remembering nights alone in my apartment looking out over the city. Not an elegant view, but I y think Kerouac should’ve been comfortable.
Thoughts, early Saturday morn
Going to sleep Friday
Tomorrow’s free morning
Ah, to wake leisurely!
My mind springs awake
Hours before dawn
This sadistic life
Tonight’s Haiku, November 8, 2019
Hear the night’s language
Moving between streetlights
Far away laughter
Halo over the half moon

A Haiku For A Brutal Day
The coolness of night
As I face life’s ugliness
Finally, calmness
