An evening haiku: Super Moon

I wrote this one a few nights ago, after getting this shot of the Super Moon on my phone. It delighted me so.

autumn moon
gracing the cool sky
blessed silence

Snoozing Through Winter

Awakening

snoozing through winter
slowly awakening
morning’s gentle rain

Today’s “Word of the Day Challenge” is Snooze. These words came while watching rhododendron blooms slowly come to life this week.

Celebrating The Night: A #Haiku

Night has now moved in
Today’s dancing light: memories
Tranquility calls

From My Walk This Morning

Not far from my home
This plant bursting with spring’s life
Season’s transition

A Lovely Autumn Morning

The trees change colors. Air cools. Autumn arrived, the season evolves. My sweaters, which delight me so, call to me. Content wells within me.

This evening’s walk

Went walking today

Along my favorite shoreline

As the sun moved low

One of my favorite things is to walk along the waterfront in Edmonds, WA. Tonight I include a few photos I took along the way.

Thinking about evenings, flowers, and just being done

The day’s heat fading
Sun obscured by these fir trees
Tasks finally done

This evening is done. Didn’t get everything done I wanted to, but I never do. Such is the way of things for me I guess.

Exploring Home

I seek out beauty
The glories of Washington

New Geeky Photo

Found this gem online today. I doth find it most delightful and charming. And it suits me well.

I’m looking forward to finding a use for it soon.
