Driven forwards
Grinding desire
For perfection
Fearful, knowing
Against logic
Your wretched
Miserable infliction
Upon humanity
Only cured by
Self destruction

Early Cherry Blossoms
Movement calmly slows
This winter’s gently calm sun.
New cherry blossoms
Hand Crafted
Look upon roiling edges,
This vertigo inducing
Abyss of my own undoing.
Crafted by my own hands,
This yawning chasm, dug
By each act of selfish ambition.
A billion small motions.
Oblivion’s Edge
Staring over oblivion’s edge
Ancient dreams echo back
Taunting me from the mists,
Warbling amongst fir and cedar
Known, yet unseen, untouched.
Once the sun awakens and life’s
Raucous, boisterous clamor
Silences the challenge, peace
Returns.
Gazing
My mind drifts onward
Lighting upon cloudy dreams
Embraced future tense
Variations
Embrace the strangeness,
Unique viewpoints we each bring
Colors in stained glass
Heading Home
Into darkened skies
Flung upwards against logic
Longing pulls homewards
Facing Homewards
Completed journey
Having done all that I can
Now facing homewards
Humanity’s Echoes
Morning’s strange silence,
A gentle hum from machines
Human’s echoing
Back and Forth
Reading it forwards
Our life ages gracefully.
Can we go backwards?
