Autumn’s Approach: Tonight’s #Haiku

With summer’s end here
And the rain’s song calming me
I now seen brown leaves

The past few days have truly felt like autumn. Rainfall, in particular, reinforces that for me. I hold many cold and soggy memories, for that is the lot of Seattle folk.

Thunder and Lightening in Seattle

As autumn flows in
Rain and lightening descending
I’ll remain indoors

A haiku while walking in Edmonds

With water flowing
From the sky across the earth
Summer’s end is near

This Evening’s Haiku: Walking at Dusk

I’m walking at dusk
As the daylight is consumed
Ducks and geese collect

New Music By A Friend Scalar Theorem

I’ve known Scalar Theorem for several years and do find his bass rich perfect for focus. Techno styled music (electronic, dub step, and the like) speaks to me. Plus, as he’s a friend, I delight to watch him succeed. He’s a regular at Burning Man!

Anyway, please go check out his new album, give it a like, and think about other ways to support his music. (If you’d rather listen on Bandcamp, here’s the link to him there).

Satie is playing: a haiku

Satie is playing
Songs that make me think of spring
The joy of flowers

A bit of a haiku at the end of a busy day. I hope your day was filled with joy and satisfaction.

A #Haiku Regarding This Rainy #Seattle Morning

In this morning’s rain
I remember these flowers
From yesterday’s sun

A Summer’s Day Haiku

On this summer’s day
Suns warmth moving gracefully
I remember spring

A Sunny Seattle Afternoon Haiku

A haiku about today
On this summer’s day | Sun’s warmth moving gracefully | I remember spring

A quick haiku about today. I hope your day is going nicely.

Summer’s Finally Here

Standing by the shore
Summer’s glory is now here
Sunlight warms my soul
