Hope: Tonight’s Haiku

as I gaze skyward
those cold little points of light
sing to me of hope

In these violent and cruel times, I seek out hope. I believe humanity has a future, and it’s better than this. I believe….

A haiku from this evening’s walk

below the sunset

and the glorious red sky

soon the songbirds sleep

Moving through my neighborhood, a suburb of Seattle, as the sun does as it must. Gravity’s handiwork across this sky. Rain started to fall as I neared home.

Tonight’s Haiku: February 12, 2020

dawn’s approach

dancing through the clouds

birds boldly calling

Today’s Haiku: Dawn in Bothell

Dawn in Bothell

Light across the sky
Beauty of Seattle’s sky
Patience of flowers

An Evening Haiku As Fall Approaches

As the evening comes
And the sky darkens slowly
The air feels autumnal

I hope your evening was delightful.

The Sky Over Lopez Island

In this summer’s sky
With this glorious calmness
I ponder deeply

I’ve been enjoying crafting these designs Canva. It’s a solidly fun tool.

Moments of Clarity: This Evening’s Haiku

While I look skyward

Moments of clarity shine

This cold autumn sky

This grey morning light

This grey morning light

Falls deftly through morning sky

Clouds from the ocean

Motion of the stars

Motion of the stars

Life is constantly changing

Though all appears still

Dreaming of the Sky

Underneath the rain
The sky above beckons me
Freedom of the sky
