By studying emptiness
We become filled with beauty
Autumn’s gentle rains

Contemplation

Staring out to see

This delicious solitude

Fragrant saltwater

Finding BalanceĀ

Seeking out balance

I am the light and the dark

Embracing the Zen

Our Tao?

Night flows into dawn

Dreams shift to reality

Such is our life’s path

Zen Mediation

As the mind quiets

The sound of nothing roaring

Emptiness fills me

Bronze Lions

While I was driving

Upon a  bronze lion: birds

Strange absurdities

A windy eveningĀ

Softly blowing wind

The tree’s motion rattles leaves

White noise moaning

A Zen Meditation

Sitting in the Tao

<

Poetry and Zen

A meditation:

Are all zen masters poets?

Zen’s path isn’t straight
