barefoot through the grass
with the dew cooling my toes
breeze through the blossoms

This morning’s haiku
crows calling
through the morning mists
petals gently fall
A Modern Dilemma
modern dilemma
I see all my hopes and dreams
behind the paywall
A little mediation on modern life and media.
Cherry Blossoms In The Sunlight
through fading sunlight dusk moves through cherry blossoms now petals falling
Descending Sunlight
the grace of the sun
as it descends through the leaves
greeted by flowers
The Blessings Of Night
the blessings of night
dusk's orange skies gently fade
ah, tranquility!
A morning haiku
flittering of bees
dancing upon the petals
a choir of birdsong
I’ve not had my morning tea yet. Time to change that, methinks.
I hope your Friday is inspiring and productive.
The gentle rain
the gentle rainfall
droplets caress the petals
in the early morn
One-Liner Wednesday: A Monoku Response
reddening leaves not yet journeying earthwards, soon autumn storms come

This is a monoku, essentially a variant of haiku. If you’re not familiar with them, Jason Muckley has a great explanation on his blog.
Autumnal Blooms

rains arrive and the air cools
yet flowers resist
It surprises me, at times, the persistent resilience of flowers. Though fully in jacket and sweater season, flowers still reach to the cold sky.
