as I look up
and notice new, red leaves
in the summer air

So, I noticed the colors on leaves starting to change. Reds, mostly. Autumn’s hearld, I guess.

autumn sunlight
moving through yellowed leaves
branches not yet bare

under autumn leaves
sunlight drifting through the mists
crows singing their joys

the reddening leaves autumn's transformation starts amidst the rainfall

Moving through the night
The silence surrounding me
And leaves under foot

this fading sunlight
breeze stirring the fallen leaves
memories drift past

a new day begins
underneath my feet I hear
freshly fallen leaves

nearly summer
I don my sweater
raindrops on leaves

walking at night
my motion delights me
coldness of wet leaves

these transitions
cold air charges fragrance
gathering the remnants
