Devouring Rage

We devour rage

And it seeps into our bones

One tweet at a time

A meditation on modern culture. Am I off base? What do you think?

My Daily Haiku, September 28

My feet are moving
I delight in the darkness
A sense of calmness

Walking at Twilight

Walking at twilight
The sense of forward motion
My tranquility

I value my evening walks. They bring me focus and settle down my more manic moments. Often, I listen to podcasts. Today, though, I opted for music. Spotify is glorious if you love music like I do.

Tonight’s Haiku

Though the air has cooled

These flowers resist autumn

Sunlight’s grasp waning

I took this photo in Edmonds, a small town north of Seattle. I’ve lived most of my life in its orbit. My heart has a dear place for this place.

A Monday Morning Haiku

This Monday morning

My mind is feeling murky

Rain in the darkness

I hope your Monday it’s the start to a productive and satisfying week.

A suburban life: a #haiku

Yet another day
Where I’m walking on these streets
This suburban life

A haiku while walking in Edmonds

With water flowing
From the sky across the earth
Summer’s end is near

Summer’s Glories: A Haiku

So much symmetry

Balancing shape and colors

Such summer glories

The Last Days Of Summer

Now dawn’s arrived

There’s one last day of summer

This carefree robin

A Meditation On Love: A Haiku

Love is many things
Over and under rated
Creates joy and pain
