Tonight’s Haiku, November 8, 2019

Hear the night's language, Moving between streetlights
Far away laughter
Tonight’s Haiku

Hear the night’s language
Moving between streetlights
Far away laughter

A Haiku For A Brutal Day

The coolness of night
As I face life’s ugliness
Finally, calmness

Our fears lie

The lie of our fears:

We’d rather face our regrets

Than fail at passion

It is important to learn the lies our psyche tells us. This holds us back from soi very much. Let’s stand against this together, shall we?

Tonight’s Haiku: October 27, 2019

Moving through the day
The cool air and the sunlight
Autumn delights me

Morning Haiku, October 27, 2019

The morning quiet

I am awaiting the dawn

Brisk autumnal air

Here in Seattle autumn’s fully present. Leaves blow around. Rake’s efforts needed. The time for sweaters, jackets and scarves arrived. A happy time for me.

An Autumnal Haiku

Autumn’s gentle days
As the year creeps towards it’s end
The sunlight’s lower

Calmness with the dark: tonight’s haiku

Looking to the sky

As I’ve returned, again, home

Calmness with the dark

In Port Townsend

On Port Townsend’s streets
Walking on the waterfront
Coffee in the rain O

Beauty in Action: Tonight’s Haiku

Our lives are motion
There is beauty in action
The drumming rainfall

Wishing you a restful night.
