A Thanksgiving Haiku/Senryu

Seek a grace filled life

So important: attitude

Embrace gratitude

An Autumn Afternoon Walk

Walking in the sun

Before winter’s rage arrives

A tranquil respite

Seeking Positive Energy

I must fill my soul

With positive energy

So I exude grace

What you feed your soul becomes the core of your being. Be thoughtful.

Questioning Assumptions: Driving Growth

My mind is both my most powerful asset and my biggest liability. I’m both propelled forward and held back. Thus I constantly question my mind, my assumptions, my drive. I seek out opportunities to grow.

Leaves upon the ground

Leaves upon the ground

Echos of summer fading

Memories remain

Autumn’s Grip

Evening moves to night

Cold and silence dominate

Autumn’s grip secure

A Poetry Challenge To Myself

“Broken Dreams” by andziadesign

Every so often, I like to challenge myself with my poetry. Today I logged into Bing Images, grabbed the first one, and crafted the haiku below.

A heart bursting forth
Anguish is encompassing
This near winter night

Thankfulness Journal: The Beauty Of My Home

So much beauty here

When sun shines, it’s glorious

I also love rain

Today’s gratitude poem: the importance of friends

The kindness of friends

Creating community

And nurturing grace
Friends make life’s journey more beautiful. They should be celebrated more.
